About

The Advocate Program, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) justice agency. It has expanded to work with juveniles and families in the juvenile justice field, and with families impacted by family conflict and violence.

Cognitive behavioral curriculum

Services

DUI Level I education course

The course includes a substance abuse evaluation and 12 hours of instruction on the issues regarding the use of alcohol and drugs.

Misdemeanor probation supervision

The agency supervises individuals sentenced to probation and monitors compliance with court conditions and notifies the Court of possible violations.

Community service placement

Clients are placed with local non-profit agencies based on interest, location and the number of hours required, and participation is reported to the Court.

Veterans housing and supportive services

The Program provides housing, advocacy and other supportive services to veteran households in Miami-Dade and Monroe County.
