Bernell Adamson, M.S., RBT, ITDS, founded the organization after becoming a mother in 2011, to create a program connecting parents balancing careers and family life with the challenges of raising children who struggle in traditional classrooms. The organization states its mission is to empower individuals with different abilities to thrive and reach their fullest potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Founder

Bernell Adamson, M.S., RBT, ITDS

Bernell Adamson founded Beyond The Label, Inc. after becoming a mother in 2011. She supported her own son, who was medically and genetically diagnosed. She pursued a career as a full-time Registered Behavior Therapist and earned a Master's degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. As an Infant and Toddler Development Specialist, she also works with families on early childhood development.
