Concerns they commonly address

Poor lighting

Inadequate lighting in hallways, stairways, bathrooms, and other areas can make it hard to see obstacles or steps, especially at night.

Slippery surfaces

Loose rugs, slick flooring, and wet bathroom surfaces can increase the risk of slips and falls.

Lack of proper support

Bathrooms, stairs, and entrances can be harder to navigate when grab bars, handrails, or other supports are missing or not properly positioned.

Clutter and obstacles

Power cords, misplaced furniture, and household items in walking paths can create tripping hazards.

Unsafe stairs

Uneven steps, worn surfaces, poor lighting, and missing handrails can increase the risk of falls on stairways.
