Dr. Nainaparampil, known as Dr. J, graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed residency training in general psychiatry at the University of Florida. He then completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the same university. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is certified in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Nainaparampil is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the Florida Psychiatric Society. He facilitated and performed in the theatrical production Inside OCD: I am not my illness.
